The more time I have with a dog, the more time I will have to start bringing your dog around distractions. All behaviors should be taught and worked on around no major distractions to start, in order to set the dog up for success. Once your dog is doing well at our home, I can bring your dog to a variety of locations to help your dog generalize the training, therefore becoming more reliable in a variety of environments.
You will have multiple go home sessions with me, where you learn how to keep making progress in-between your dogs day training days with me. The key to long term success is you being consistent back at home. I am here to help you every step of the way!
Private lessons are held in your home, or ours, where you get to learn alongside your dog. We will work on any behavioral struggles you are having with your dog. If your dog is displaying more serious behavioral issues, we may require you to purchase a package of lessons, to ensure you get the results you are looking for. Our Board and Train programs allow your dog to make faster progress because they get hours of training each day with an experienced trainer. This is the ideal solution if you have a hectic schedule and want your dog to receive professional training without having to spend the time laying the entire foundation yourself. While ongoing reinforcement will be needed once your dog returns home, this program ensures that you’ll have a well-trained dog in a short amount of time, with minimal disruption to your routine.
Your dog will stay with us in a home environment where they’ll participate in active training sessions (loose leash walking, repetitions of their basics, yard time, outings in public settings to practice their training around distractions, etc.) and passive training sessions (crate time, down stays, and other calming exercises). This ensures you will have a well-rounded pup who can listen around distractions and knows how to be calm when appropriate.
No need to be away from your dog for weeks if you don’t want to!
We understand how important your dog is to you. In this program, your dog stays with us Tuesday through Saturday, then returns home with you for the weekend (Saturday to Tuesday). Every Saturday, we will hold a “go-home” session, where you’ll learn what to focus on over the weekend.
If you prefer your dog to stay with us over the weekend, this is also an option.
Board & Train Programs are Monday-Friday for 1, 2, 3 or 4 weeks. NOTE: there is the option of having me keep your dog through the weekend(s), but it is an additional $100 per weekend day for this. Example: If you want your dog to stay with my through 1 weekend, it would be an additional $200.

A Day Training session is where I come to your house to work with your dog, and you are not actively involved in the session. This is similar to hiring a dog walker, only I can work on training goals with your dog during this time.
I can work with your dog in your home, yard, or neighborhood. Alternatively, I can work with your dog at a park, in a store, or at my home. It all depends on your training goals and where your dog or puppy is currently at in their training journey.
It is usually best to mix and match day training sessions with at least 1 private lesson. During private lessons, I am teaching you how to work with your dog, and I send a recap email about the exercises you should continue to work on.
